Pavel Podruh

Co-Founder of AMVOLT.energy a Czech-based battery storage production company focused on sustainable battery design with de-centralized production business model. Also the Innovation Manager for the Czech Association for Energy Storage AKU-BAT CZ and founder of the award-winning Czech Self-Sufficient House project, which is not only a physically existing house - a technology laboratory disconnected from all utilities, but also a generator of know-how. Pavel, with his team and network of experts, helps to find new suitable solutions for the installation of photovoltaic power plants with storage for both family homes and medium and large companies or industrial sites in order to reduce dependence on burning coal and gas. He is the recipient of the 2017 Czech Manager of the Year Award, the UN SDGs Award and the EU Sustainable Energy Award.
